Data Deletion

How to stop Google access, remove a Gmail connection, or ask us to delete information from Scanenter.

Last updated 18 October 2026

Disconnecting and deleting are different.

Removing Google access stops that authorization. To delete your Scanenter account or stored event information, follow the separate deletion steps below.

1. Disconnect a Gmail mailbox

  1. Log in to Scanenter and open Settings.
  2. Select Gmail Config.
  3. Choose Disconnect for each mailbox you want to remove.

This removes the mailbox email address and saved refresh token from that active Gmail slot in Scanenter. It does not delete your event workspace or recall messages already accepted by Gmail. A send already in progress may finish, so let active sending finish before disconnecting.

2. Revoke access in Google

  1. Open your Google Account third-party connections.
  2. Select Scanenter, or the app name you approved on the Google consent screen.
  3. Remove the relevant connection or access permissions.

Google controls the exact labels on that page. Removing access can prevent future Gmail sending or Google sign-in until you authorize again. Revocation alone does not delete data already stored in Scanenter; use a deletion request for that.

3. Request account or workspace deletion

Email eventpro62@gmail.com from your registered account email with the subject Scanenter data deletion request. State whether you want to delete your account, a workspace's event data, a Gmail connection, or specific records.

Include the relevant event name or identifier if you have it. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the workspace, clarify the requested scope, and explain any records that must be retained. Support will confirm the scope, expected handling time, and outcome of your request.

Never send us your password, OAuth tokens, UPI PIN, or full payment card details.

4. Event and attendee information

Workspace owners can delete events using the event management controls. This removes the associated active event and attendee records. Review or export information you need before using a destructive action.

If you are an attendee, first contact the event organizer who collected or uploaded your information. You can also email eventpro62@gmail.com with the event name and the email address used for the ticket so we can help route or verify the request. We do not disclose another attendee's information to verify your identity.

5. What deletion does not remove

Records required for accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or payment disputes may need to be retained. Service-provider backup copies follow their backup lifecycle and may not disappear at the same time as active records.

Deleting Scanenter data does not delete your Google account, remove emails from recipients' or senders' mailboxes, or erase records independently retained by Google, Razorpay, or your event organizer. It does not automatically refund a payment.
