Scanenter / How it works

From the guest list to the entrance.

Prepare your event in advance, review the tickets you will send, and give your entry team a clear workflow when the doors open.

  1. 01

    Create your workspace

Create a Scanenter account, then sign in to the dashboard. Your workspace keeps your events, guest records, team roles, and settings together.

  2. 02

Prepare the event and guest list

Set the event title, location, date, time, and attendee capacity. Add the organizer details and import your guest list from CSV. Check names, addresses, and event information before sending anything.

  3. 03

    Activate the event

Review the capacity and event charge before confirming payment. Draft preparation is free; activation is billed per event. The price is based on your chosen attendee capacity.

  4. 04

    Design and deliver the tickets

Select a ticket theme, review its event copy, and connect a Gmail mailbox if you want to email tickets. Start sending when the ticket is ready. Each attendee receives their own QR reference on a PDF ticket.

  5. 05

Give your team the right access

Create roles and add the people who will help run the event. Assign permissions for the tasks each person needs, such as checking guests in or managing event details.

  6. 06

Welcome guests and follow the event

Open QR scanning on a camera-capable device with an internet connection. Scan the guest’s ticket, review their record, and record entry. Use the dashboard to follow attendee and check-in counts.

Prepare the door before event day.

Check the camera permission and internet connection on the devices your team will use. Review team permissions and send a test ticket before dispatching a larger guest list. Live event operations require a connection, including when you use the installed web app.
