Scanenter / FAQ

The practical questions, answered.

Find out how event pricing, guest tickets, team access, and the installed Scanenter app work before you prepare your next event.

What is Scanenter?

Scanenter is an event management workspace for creating events, importing guest lists, generating individual QR tickets, sending ticket emails, managing team access, and recording guest check-in.

How much does an event cost?

Event activation costs ₹5 per attendee capacity, with a ₹499 minimum per event. The price is based on the capacity you choose. Draft preparation is free, there is no subscription, and taxes may apply.

Can I import my existing guest list?

Yes. You can import attendee names and email addresses from a CSV file. Review the guest information and chosen event capacity before generating and sending tickets.

Does each guest get a separate QR ticket?

Yes. Each attendee has an individual ticket reference and QR code. The check-in workflow uses that reference to find the attendee’s record and record entry to the event.

Can I customize the ticket design?

Yes. Choose from ticket themes and edit event text such as the title, organizer details, location, and description. The attendee’s identity and QR reference stay attached to their ticket.

Do I need to connect Gmail?

Gmail is optional. Connect a mailbox if you want to send ticket emails from it through Scanenter. Google sign-in and connecting Gmail are separate actions. Gmail sending permission does not let Scanenter read your inbox.

Can my team help with the event?

Yes. Organizers can manage team roles and permissions, including access to event operations and scanning. Give each person the permissions they need for their work.

Can I install Scanenter on my phone or computer?

Yes. Scanenter is an installable web app. On supported browsers, use Install app or Add to Home Screen. On iPhone and iPad, open Scanenter in Safari, use Share, and choose Add to Home Screen.

Does the installed app work without internet?

The installed app provides an offline screen when a connection is unavailable. Live guest check-in, event information, payments, and ticket sending need an internet connection. Reconnect and reload to continue those tasks.

How do I disconnect Gmail or request data deletion?

You can disconnect a Gmail mailbox from workspace settings and revoke access in your Google Account. To request account or event data deletion, follow the Data Deletion page and contact support from your registered email address.
